Parallel cells would be nominal 3.7V so as Mr V says the holder must hold them in series.
The reason I asked is because it would be understandably very attractive to a DIY lamp builder and the voltage would be important.
Simon, are you saying that Stenlights are finished for good?
For the benefit of anyone who has one with spent batteries, broken plugs etc I am happy to fit an XT60 to the lamp so as to run of my 2 cell 3.5 AH power packs at reasonable cost.
It seems a shame to me that people may have perfectly good Stenlights that only need as bit of TLC and yet go out and buy new lamps.
As an alternative I can also make an adaptor so not to have to do anything to the lamp, I have done a couple for 'Heb'.
Maybe he like to say something about this if he reads this post?
