Here's a unused Croll for a tenner:

This seller http://shop.ebay.co.uk/sallyharris0/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340 has got an unused croll and hand ascender ending in the next two hours, but they're definitely not current models - the hand ascender is an older shape as is the Croll.

Looking at the plan, from mill level (and cheers for all digging at both Pant Mawr and Fron Boeth :thumbsup:) you should be able to descend down to floor 11 or 12?

I doubt you'd get any lower, although at least one chamber in Fron Boeth floor 17 isn't on the plan - so there's always a slim chance.

There’s plenty of sites on the web showing how to thread a stop.lil bit of practise and you will be well away
