Does anyone out there know of a supplier of crystalline calcite, preferably crushed (smaller the better down to 1-5mm) and preferably free, although I accept I may have to pay. I don't need hugh quantities, but at least 200kg if I'm going to travel any distance for it. I've been looking at Moss Rake in Derbyshire, but can't seem to get in touch or even find out if its still open. I'm in Northumberland, but quite prepared to travel - I've previously broughs some uncrushed material from Somerset.
Any information gratefully received on good sources, commercial or otherwise.
