Bit of an odd one, this.

I know of someone who has an electric forklift for sale, including charging station. I've got no use for it, although it does work and it does move around and lift stuff etc.

Why I thought it might be of interest is that I suspect that the workings of an electric forklift and the workings of a BEV loco might be similar...?

Yes, that would be a good idea - use the motor and batteries on a skip chassis and it would be quite fun. Would need to get some rail to lay in the lake level though!

Nothing you've got anywhere on your 'train set' that might benefit from new batteries / motors / charger unit is there? For some reason I had it in my mind that there was a BEV on the Ffestiniog?

Last chance before it goes elsewhere - anyone interested in salvaging some parts for a BEV or similar?

I could do with some more batteries. charger might be of interest too (unless its 3 phase). otherwise, not really.
