Thanks to you all for making it an enjoyable, if challenging day out. Certainly this is the responsible way of exploration, unlike the three interlopers at level one that were casually exploring in trainers and no proper protection!
Mudbeast will return for more punishment in due course and will put the pics up on my return to Scotland.

Any specifc error message?

If you're using the batch upload try uploading fewer at a time. In case its a memory issue with very large files. The site will move to a new server at the end of the year which will have considerably more RAM.

If You need one, I have a 2U/4U (depending on the chassis, I have both spare) kicking around looking for a home/purpose if you are doing colo. I'm not sure what the requirements for this site are, but if dual Opty 250's, 4GB ECC DDR400 (4 free slots) and a PCI-X 8x hardware SATA RAID card (LSI I think) on a Rioworks HDAMA board will do, consider it reserved for You. I don't want anything for it.

Ta v much. But the day I colo again is, quite frankly, the day I slit my wrists. Managed hardware, managed OS, managed firewall. And its still miserable.

I'm afraid I'm not very technical a person, NewStuff, is that an uploading tool? :)

@Simon it simply said "This webpage is not available" after initiating the upload, it's probably a problem originating in my own PC, some of drivers are missing I think

If you were batch uploading large files (straight off the camera or at massive resolution) try fewer files at a time please? That "webpage not available" message can indicate a very long delay and the server assuming you've given up and gone away! Broadband (particularly on Sunday evening) can be a bit slow uploading at times.

that's what I thought though the images are large they're not straight off camera, they're the same size as those of Valentia Quarry I added and that worked fine. I didn't batch them just one at a time. Either way I'll try again tomorrow
