Hi guys, I'm from Polish mine explo team BTE - couple of team/mine related highlights you can find on our facebook profile:

We've been considering visit in UK for last months and eventually we decided to make that first trip this September.
We are going to spend a weekend in North Wales - preferably exploring Croesor and Rhossyd mines - what I guess it's not a surprise :)

If there is anyone who is planning CRTT in September we'll be more then happy to make a joined trip.
I think our visit might be a good first step to meet and share expieriences.... also if you are interested to learn about polish and czech mines and explo opportunities there - please share your thoughts.

I would be gratefull for any support you can offer since it's going to be our first explo visit in UK 😉

When in September are you thinking of coming?

I'm based in North Wales and would be really happy to join you for some trips - including the Croesor Rhosydd trips.

If I can fit it in I would be up for joining you for a few trips. I can speak Polish as well, not that you would need a translator, your English seems pretty good.

Thanks for youre feedback, I'll let you know dates once we fix them - it should take us approx. 1 more week to finalize timing.

Don't be concerned on communication site - every BTE member is fluent in english. On the other hand would be nice to exchange couple of sentences in polish - glad to have you interested in a meeting Mr Mike :)

I have checked data available on this web site for both mines. Looks like there is a plan of workings for Rhosydd but there is nothing simmilar for Croesor - is there any place I could get Croesor plan?

Keep us updated about when in September you're visiting (I guess a few people will be occupied on the weekend of 24/25 due to Hidden Earth - the annual UK caving conference) but as long as I'm free when your group is in N Wales I'll be there 🙂

Looks like we have a nice flight connection for 10-11 September weekend, so this is my proposal.
Idea is to arrive on Friday and departure on Monday next week so we should have full weekend available for exploration.
