I suspect a visit to the 25 on that side of the valley might be an ambition, but only on the basis that we get a drought-like spell so we can abseil down to the 50 after without getting drowned.

Having heard the 25-50 abseil described as "the most unwise thing done underground", I'm happy to wait for a very dry spell!

Did anybody 'cross the valley'. I forget the level number, but the one that joins the two halves of the quarry under the valley floor.

Hmm let me guess who the other two were.

jcam ?
RJV ?

They both have little regard for their own personal safety (sorry I meant 'they have balls of steel' didn't I)

Gutted I wasn't able to join you all. PPP on my part, had to work Friday & part of Saturday and and failed to get an MOT on the car too. 😞
Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.

Hmm, backup team... that might involve sitting in a chair taking in the sun whilst the advance team is down getting cold and wet.

Count me in for the backup team
