Will probably post some here later although strictly it is not mine related.

I only found one set of initials carved into the walls, I would have expected to see plenty more given the soft nature of the sandstone.

I can't reccommend the Drakelow Video enough it is a complete tour of the complex before the scrapman cometh and will show you plenty of items worthy of visiting - although sadly some were destoyed by the when the bulldozer came in

No that was Chris who opened the site up for us and negotiated with the owner for access

Vanoord in true style disappeared without trace for 4 hours

Is it just me or do I keep seeing things in other people's photos that I never noticed? Apart from a half hour lunch break, I was there from 1030 until 1500, worked my way "methodically" 😉 around following the map :smartass: , ticked off areas as I saw them :smartass: , went back to take photos :smartass: , and still missed half of it!! 😮 D'oh! :lol:
