I'd be up for that.
Doubt you'd get 50 people from AN alone but if you made it a joint AN/ME/DP trip you'd probably be getting there.

I have to allow for you getting lost  and others cancelling last minute. There is a charge of £10 a head this covers their costs for opening and running the generators etc

They would also insist on BCA or similar insurance

Well worth going on a trip which lets you roam free.
For me the best part was the old shadow factory tunnels at the back of the complex.
These really are untouched since the end of the war.
The cold war stuff is also good.

If you check on the DVD you will be suprised how much has changed, following the removal of walls etc to access loose ducting, copper cabling to the extraction fan units and to salvage the steel joists. There is however a lot still intact if you know where to look

I've been before but would go again given the chance. Could easily get up to about ten non-AN people to make up the numbers given the right day, (would have to be a weekend), so I think we'd get 50 people fairly easily.

You can get it through this here website.

Although it's probably worth waiting until the New Year.

This site or the BCA site? If this site, there's been a glitch with the code for buying BCA cover with it charging the full amount instead of just the bit of the year that's left.

I've fixed this now  Sorry it took a while to get around to it 😞

On the trip idea - I've sent Mike a PM and assuming the idea is OK we will put it up to see how many people are interested.

Click this link Steve, should take you to it. I'd wait until New Year though, unless you are really desperate for it.

Date dependant, I would be very interested in this. I would need to give a months notice for a weekend trip.
