If by pulleys you mean a crazy triangle of blue rope then yes.
Didn't see any pulleys in the system just some sys loops.
Was much harder work than just boats on a string and a fixed single line though.

It is hard work isn't it? Especially if you're the mug who ends up hauling everybody else across, then when it's your turn find they've all ascended out of the chamber :lol:

Wow, that filled up fast!! Looks like I'm one of the lucky ones. Pity a couple of my mates didn't get in on time.
If a 2nd. party does materialise I hope they can get on it. If so I'd happily swap my spot on this 1st. party with someone on the 2nd. to knock around with them.

Only if there is a 2nd. trip mind! I don't want to miss out on this. 😉

there was a subsidiary party on a previous trip, doing a walk-in at the two ends. I'm not interested in the SRT element, I don't do SRT, but I'd be interested in the look-see part if anyone else is

Can't promise derrickman, but I will see who is about and whether there is anybody who can show you both ends of trip without the SRT bit. Both are interesting mines, but there is probably more to see in Rhosydd than Croesor.

If you ever need someone to take a group on the CRTT I am always willing. As I live in Southampton I do need a couple of weeks notice but please feel free to ask.

One way or another, between Vanoord saying he might be free, Barney and the Colonel, and Speedy I think we're good for a second group on the day!

I've upped the group size to 14.

Anybody who wants to come along it or anybody (I think NigelH said a few mates had missed out) who wanted to bring some others please feel free to come along - can you put your names down though so we don't end up with 40 people :lol:

Who's still up for making a weekend of it (or even a long weekend) and having a look at some metal mines the following day?

As long as its not too epic as we've got a long drive back.

Or if it is semi-epic don't drop me in it again by telling the wife it didn't actually overrun and we had just spent 3hrs in the pub afterwards.

Would be interested in a non-srt trip into both mines.
Have had a poke around bits of Croesor in the past but the only bit of Rhosydd Ive seen is on the back end of a CRTT and that was a bit of a dash!

At the moment I should be free but tend to be as unreliable as a very unreliable thing 😉
