Split from the CRTT thread to avoid confusion.

A separate trip was suggested for a non-SRT trip into both Croesor and Rhosydd on the same day as the CRTT.

How many are interested in this option?

I have just spoken with the farmer from Croesor. He says it is allright to take vehicles up the track to Croesor quarry on the day. So if you want to you can drive up to the quarry which would save a lot of walking.

If anyone wants access up the road another time just send me a pm and I will give you the name and tel. number of the farmer.
A little respect for landowners goes a long way. There are people just driving up not giving a dam. But i am told it is no problem going up, but a 'broken down' tractor blocking the track for a long time would be an inconvenience when coming down and wanting to go home after doing the thrugh trip.

Hmm, yes, I quite agree. I'll add it to the events list, see if it gets any more signing up.

Are you intending to do Croesor and Rhosydd? Croesor is interesting too, but in Rhosydd (as you know - this is aimed at people who haven't been) you've got the Eastern section workings as well as the area around the 6-3 incline. All good stuff :thumbsup:

This is getting really confusing! There are now 3 threads on the non-SRT Croesor and Rhosydd trip on July 3rd!
