I have 4 takers for this trip - if anyone has not been to Snailbeach in Shropshire you are missing a treat there are 5 engine houses on the site, locomotive shed, miners dry, working blacksmiths shop / forge, compressor house, powder magazine , to name but part of this site.

We will access Day and Roberts Levels (where the SRT group will also use) The walk and talk usually takes 3 - 4 hours.

Just up the valley is Tankerville Mine with two engine houses, chimneys ore hopper etc (owned by the Shropshire Mines Trust). In the area there are 10 other engine houses all worth a photo or two

This place is ace and well worth a look.... superb mining scenery please support the trip... I had never visited Snailbeach until recently and now rate it as one of the best visited... Some fantastic engine houses believe me! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
