I note that an SRT trip has been orgnaised on this date - if there is interest i am happy to do a surface walk open the buildings and do simple walk in to Day Level and Perkins Level

I am not sure how this can be added to the programme - I will co odinate this with Steve as I am now chair of the SMT

I'm currently laid up on crutches with two gammy knees

but, by May I should be able to manage a short scramble up to and in the day level. Can you count me as provisional? Since I'm new here please feel free to email me so that I can let you know about ability etc. 😢

Sadly down to 3 from Adit Now which is disappointing - but at least it willbe a cheap round at the Stiperstones Inn

It occurs the 10:00am start time is too early for some

If you want to turn up on spec some of the mine buildings are opened on sundays and entry to day level is facilitated but does not include Roberts level and Loco shed

To All at Snailbeach & SMT today..... Thanks a bunch for a great tour around the mine and particularly the trip up the levels.... Great asset to mine preservation..... could not have enjoyed it more, it was nice to see the relics in the visitor centre, smithy and engine shed.
