Nope, but I've an original plan of Smithy Level if you're interested.

Hi Sparty_lea.
I'm hoping to get over that way when I get back home in April.
Smithy Level? wasn't that driven over by Nookton burn?
Been a while since I have looked at that area 'long while!'
😞

For a history of these mines see British Mining No.70 "Lead Mining in the Derwent Valley" by Pirt and Dodds of December 2002.
Someone has been working on Deborah Level in recent years.
Yes, I'll have it - what is it?

You might have to go to a library if you want to read it. I've tried to get a copy for myself but the NMRS don't have any copies left and the only people who seem to be selling it are a bunch of scabby profiteers called Anybook-UK via Amazon.
£166.18! Hangings to good for 'em etc.

Unfortunately, it's one of the few editions of British Mining that Mike Moore doesn't have in stock.... I'll try and remember to see if the mining museum at Matlock Bath have a stray copy next time I'm in (I got Colonel Mustard a copy of the long out-of-print Kelton and Knockburton mines book from there) and if so I'll be open to reasonable offers....

Speaking of dodgy profiteers……
Seriously though, that would be excellent if you could.
Cheers,

Hi All.
Thanks for the pointers and advice 😉 nice to know that some folk are still not in it for the money! I used to do a lot of exploring back in the 80's but got a bit fed up and disillusioned with a lot of it. Only recently and stumbling across this site 😮 and seems to have fired up my interest once more.
Regards to all.
