I've put a couple of mines on the system, they're not in North Wales, so I've put them in the South. However They're not really South either (Although to a 'Gog' like myself anywhere past the Dyfi seems south). However around here (Mid Wales) south seems to be the other side of the beacons. One of the larger orefields in Britain is here (N. Cardiganshire/W. Montgomeryshire). Is it worth having a Mid Wales section?

I'd be more than happy to add a mid Wales section and corresponding forum area.

What do any other members think?

I would agree that the Dyfi is the historical boundary between North and Mid Wales. I think that it would be wise to have a Mid Wales section as it contains a very important Silver/Lead mining area and one Gold mine(Ogofau).
Gold is where you find it

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
