Hmmm, in the case of replies and reply quoting there should be a topic review under the box where you type the message and all the smilies... Does that not show for you?
I can see it now... It shows the last 10 (or however many there are if less than 10) messages in the thread in reverse order.
You may need to scroll up and down a bit to see it of course.
