Over the past few months I've had a few people say they've not received replies they were expecting to private messages they'd sent.
I think the cause is that people replying occassionally reply to the message itself rather than coming to the web site to reply. When then happens is the reply goes to an unattended mailbox and not to the intended recipient (it can't go to the intended recipient because email addresses are not disclosed).
To try to aleviate that problem I've added some extra wording to the top of all private messages. So don't be alarmed when all PM alerts you receive now contain the text:
