In reality 260 lumens is nothing.
I tested an eBay £20 Chinese wonder a while ago and although its claim of 10,000 L was Alice in Wonderland it would do about 2500 off fresh batteries.

not bad Roy. I bet the build was a bit lacking though. I've got a small zoom lenser type thing that kicks out a good output, but give the battery pack a knock and it's lights out. Good enough for taking the dog out last thing, or annoying the neighbours on the flashing mode (bloody silly mode! :curse:)

Nitecore have been giving away loads of free headlamps and torches lately in return for neutral reviews or field test videos, I had two lamps off them and my mate had some too, but spamming forums was not a requirement however I have seen quite a bit of it in this last week from some recipients of the Nitecore freebies.
