Surely worth doing I'd say. If it's for still photography then some of the usual considerations can be done away with.
With that sort of output the duration of shots will be around 4-8 seconds, so does that mean that heat sinking can be pretty much done away with?
Likewise runtime doesn't much come into it as even 200 shots of 4 seconds each isn't a lot.
Finally, I guess a good sturdy case would be nice, but it could just be carried in a decent waterproof box. Will be keen to see what you come up with. I'd be keen to try it myself, but unfortunately even just thinking about electricity makes my brain dissolve.
