Tell me more Sparty, worth a look inside (and where abouts is this in relation to the main mine site)? 🙂

As you go up the track alongside the burn towards the mine yard there is a footpath goes down to a footbridge across the burn, the level is just downstream of this bridge.

The water level was the drainage level when the mine was working and it used to be possible to access the higher workings from it but not any more.
Its open a long way but is totally uninteresting and ends at a collapse which is probably the first rise up into the rest of the mine.
