.I have found this mentioned in British Mining Memoirs No 48 1993 pgs 86-89 of The Northern Mining Research Soc (available online) entitled "False Hopes at Wheal Speedwell" it is about an unsuccesful prospectus for a New Wheal Speedwell map shows all the supposedly wealthy mines surrounding but also mentions and shows a trial adit driven from Coules Cove (this small cove) to about near Trenals which then was a farm with an intermediate shaft, don't know where this might be, hidden in wooded slope
