Any ideas why the quarry at Ardsheal was known as Ardshieal China Quarry?

Quote:

BLASTING ACCIDENT AT BALLACHULISH. — lntelligence was received at Fort-William on Saturday afternoon of a melancholy blasting accident at Ardsheal China Quarry, Ballachulish, whereby three workmen were more or less seriously injured. It appears that blasting operations were in progress, and the workmen having ignited the fuse of charge retired to a safe distance. They waited for considerable time, but the shot not going off, they returned with the intention of wiithdrawing it. In doing so, however, the charge exploded with terrific force, pitching John M'Coll, one of the workmen, a distance of about sixty feet down the rock He sustained comround fractures of the leg and arm, and one of is eyes were blown out.....
