Hope they keep a de-compression chamber handy - they could do with one at Dorothea!

The map is the territory - especially in chain scale.

Would thought no shortage of those in Aberdeen.

BBC1's Crimewatch special last night showed the police North West Underwater Search Team working in Dorothea. They were checking for stolen cars that had been dumped there, using a remote camera.

Yes, there's a hyperbaric unit on Ashgrove road, about a mile away. I'm surprised at the depth of the quarry quoted in the report, since when they demolished half the town centre in the 80's to build the two dismal shopping malls, they tipped it all back in the hole! 🙂
If the phone didn''t ring, it was probably me.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
