I would try and make a working party should one take place when such things are once again permitted. It's a favourite spot of mine.
Never tried walking up that way though.

Could I request a covered walkway or travelator to the mine? It hammered it down last time I went.
We then came out the top into even more rain and had no idea where we were.

Once travel is permitted I’ll go have a visit get some new pictures see if any of the old path is visible now it’s winter a lot of stuff might have died of and be easier to locate , fingers crossed can get a work party together Covid taken in mind obviously.

Little more that what I have already found and photographed.

It is likely that the authority will eventually themselves clear the blockage and take the landowner to civil court for recovery of costs, and also do some clearance on the PROW with little markers etc.
We will of course, keep NRW up to speed on it, although they dont have material interest in the land, they are interested in what we do, their local manager has been very helpful.
My avatar is a poor likeness.
