Still a working quarry but the operator, Ellis Thomas, is a great guy and will show you around if you ask him nicely. Tell him "Phil from Jennings Plant" suggested that you should ask. 🙂

Blondin towers are worth seeing. The place has deteriorated fast although that was down to neglect by previous operators, not Ellis.
He also works 'Ty Mawr West' as well just down the road, crushing waste for roadstone although I think that the planning may have expired on that now as he was only allowed to work the tips down to a certain level above the adjacent road.
