Hi all,

Just had a quick trip into Rhosydd and there is the most horrendous rotting smell coming from around Chamber F Floor 7. Climbing up the collapses from Floor 9, the smell suddenly hits you as soon as you climb onto Floor 7. I didn't hang around to investigate.

Perhaps it’s that Cheviot lamb after Bear Grills and Rob Brydon made the poor thing attempt a role as a Welsh mountain breed.

More likely rotting fallen sheep. Once came across the dessicated remains of one at the foot of the old vertical water balance shaft in Oakeley - didn't stop to investigate what the shaft foot was like!

Have abseiled into a pile of them in Moelferna. I thought the floor seemed spongy.
