Very late posting for this weeks trip I'm afraid...

Bryn felin copper mine, Aberglaslyn- 18.30

It'll be a multiple options trip with holes to SRT down, stopes to be checked and tea to be drunk over a discussion on the macro economics of mineral mining between 1860 and 1880 presented by Sinker. (I know which I'll be doing).

Parking is restricted close to the railway bridge but there's a lay bay further towards Aberglaslyn bridge.

Would have been, but for yours truly ffaffing with the ropes while all around were being devoured by midges. When we resurfaced we were inhaling them! As Wyn said... think of the protein. ;D

Old Sailors wisdom... the best knots are the simplest ones. As you may need to undo them very quickly to avoid grief at sea. There are parallels for explorers... needing to undo them swiftly for a quick getaway!;)
