Not then, don't get too excited... it's a long way off yet...

AditNow is 10 years old next September (September 15th).

What are peoples' thoughts on marking it somehow?

I'd like to arrange something over a long weekend (possibly 11/12/13 September). Almost certainly a camping weekend based around the Blaenau.

Trips, yes; but also make a social out of it. BBQ, hog roast (?), that sort of thing.

I would propose Llechrwd Campsite as per usual as it's hassle free & has always worked well for previous summer do's.

Incidentally, the last couple years have been rather barren insofar as AN awaydays are concerned. Rockchick has graciously offered to shake up the calendar for next year but in the meantime, if anybody has any offers to lead trips on other weekends or there are any places that people would particularly like to go then please feel free to start a new thread. :flowers:

Just before Maentwrog coming from Blaenau. Just by the river.

We've had summer do's there a few times now and its always been fine (apart from the summer when it was torrential rain & we had a lucky last minute diversion to a bunkhouse above Llanrwst...).

Close enough actually for a walk up to Croesor, leave by Rhosydd then an easy amble down to Blaenau for a skinful, day-glo curry & a taxi back to the campsite... :thumbsup:
