Afternoon y'all - We're looking for a new mooch. Preferably in North East Wales because we haven't got the time to drive much further. Preferably with some SRT. The ones already 'mooched' - Fish, Hendre, Meashafn, Belgrave, Bog, Poachers, Bickerton, Cabin Shaft, Moel Fferna and Penarth ... we were just wondering if there is any other low hanging fruit out there

... Many thanks in advance for any suggestions and inspiration

You mentioned Poachers - did you find OHA 100 yards further up?

(I didn't use the "C" word)

::)

A door, once opened, may be stepped through in either direction.

Well still in the Minera Area there is:

Grand Turk Passage - easy SRT pitch then a low damp grovel to enter the main streamway. Nice passage and the option of a climb up a mined rise (SRT) to white vein via the air control dam. There is another interesting rise which needs bolting or maypoling. Have an idea where this might go...

Ogof Hen Dyn - a C*** but with mined areas. Very squeezy, muddy and with some hanging death. The upper levels may offer a route into other mined passages in an 'interesting' area.

Ragman Vein - North-West part is probably very wet at present, the South-East part is quite a good trip and the stopes may be worth an investigate for other connections. Thin people with a hydrophilic nature may want to do the through trip into Ragman passage, but don't forget to open the door (adjustable spanner) before you go :-)
