As my quite tall SRT pratice tree (at the back) is presently being watered by mother nature. I was thinking there may be a dry dark hole with some bolted up, (not too deep) drops, close-ish to a parking spot and around Llanberis I could visit?
Apologies for the stringent specification but I did hold back on the need for a Cafe as well. ::)
Any Ideas?

Give the Beacon climbing centre a call and see if you can use one of their walls? There is even a café...
my orders are to sit here and watch the world go by

A bit advanced as well as a climb to get there?

Hi Edwyn. Llanberis Copper Mine is a bit nasty/wet, but not a lot else springs to mind in the area. I would offer to lend you my drill and a couple of bolts if you can find somewhere to put them in!
I have sent you an e-mail, by the way.
Phil.

I think I'll use all your suggestions... Visit Llanberis copper M. for a look; ring Beacon and have a wonder around for suitable locations to use Phil's drill (email received, thanks).
I cant think of anywhere inside at the moment, sheltered perhaps but not under cover.
I'll post inf. re. Beacon after a visit/chat. My daughter does trad stuff there and I've been to the old place a few times. She's been pestering for me to go along "for a laugh" (no doubt 'at' not 'with')
Thanks
Edwyn

Thinking about it, you dont want much do you.
Close by parking, dry, straightforward SRT, ready bolted.
You forgot the pub within 100 yds.
If you do find it, any chance of letting me know the location?

Hunters Hole: 100 yards away from the pub, dry and bolted for lots of fun!! - shame its not closer to Llanberis!
Better to regret something you have done - than to regret something you have not done.
