I know this item is not on strictly on topic, but Rob & I were heading down towards Nenthead from Killhope yesterday, when we could not help notice an overturned car on our side of the road.
It was boxed in by two police cars, and a recovery vehicle, clearly this is non of my business, but I hope that the occupants of the vehicle, were OK and non of our contributors were involved.
Anyone heard anything?

I saw the same, though I was driving up. The car seemed fairly intact apart from a missing bumper so I assumed the hapless occupants weren't too badly hurt.
One of my colleagues mentioned seeing a car upside down in the same place a few years ago, must be something in the water.
Don't look so embarrassed, it's a family trait...

Judging by the marks on the roadside and over the fence, I think the driver came too fast down the hill and became airborne by the waterworks. Must have been fun...

I thought that to start with but the car was too close to the skid. Car will slide a long way on the roof at any speed.
Possibly caught nearside wheel on the verge and did a panic swerve, ending up in the verge the other side and rolling over.
Don't look so embarrassed, it's a family trait...

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
