I think manganese is a fascinating metal, apart from Nant Gadwen near Aberdaron, are there any which are worth of underground exploration?

Also, Ivor the engine, who is he?

Davel is your man for Manganese

"Ivor the Engine" was one of the best children's television programmes ever. He was an 0-4-0 pulling coal trucks in South Wales, he had a dragon living in his fire-box and his driver was called "Jones the steam".

Have you been down any of them? I have seen this website before, very detailed, some of the external inclines and such certainly look interesting.

I remember him now, I just thought I'd be spontaneous and ask 😛

Some of the scenery is a bit like South Wales and there is a coal mine, but these are things typically thought to be Welsh so they probably just included them for that :)
