Is it still possible to print out an itinerary from the website? (can't quite remember if I booked on a Friday trip and what time I need to get there 😞 )

No - you cannot print your itinerary. paper copy in your Conference pack. PM me and I can email a copy to you. (....real name in PM!)

Just a reminder that, all being well, I will be handing out copies of the proceedings of the 2014 NAMHO conference to people who were delegates in 2014.

I will have additional copies of the proceedings of last year's NAMHO conference for sale at a special conference price, plus copies of Metal Mining in Mid Wales 1822-1921 by and Towards a Better Understanding: Proceedings of the Welsh Mines Society Conference 2010, both with price reductions for the duration of the conference.

I'm departing around 7am. Later than a normal Friday start! And a more pleasant run up the A1 (overturned caravans notwithstanding).

I thought it was very well organised, fantastic attention to detail. Well done Head Honcho Joyce Jackson, Whipping Boy Peter Jackson (Master of Ceremonies), and no doubt a large contingent of helpers. And the WI (I believe) for all the grub!

I've also been impressed with the knowledge of the meet leaders. They always know the route and look after the participants, but this year have been exceptional in their knowledge of the site itself, history, geology etc..

And always good to catch up with old beards / faces.

At one point my beard was in the water which, technically speaking, does make this a wet trip.
