Seems I'm on taxi duty again so won't be out to play. 😞

Any ideas chaps?

I'm half inclined to suggest going to look at the two coal mines on Anglesey - nothing to see underground, just some surface ruins, but always been intrigued to take a look...

Probably not terribly exciting though.

Or, could nip up to Cefn Du for a look (before they flood it!) or take a look at some of the pits above Glynrhonwy - Cook and Ddol.

Or if it's a nice night take a look at some of the holes on the hill above Sygun.

Cefn Du would be good....that's an abseil drop in if I recall?
But then my car always "veers" off towards the Indian when I'm in that area..... ::) ho-hum... πŸ˜‰

Sygun area....I could try and arrange an early finish NEXT Thursday if we wanted to get up there a bit earlier, say 1600 hrs, due to the walk and the large area of ground to cover? Haven't been up there much myself but there a lot of ground to cover if I remember?

You mean the chimney by Pentre Berw? I wasn't aware of anything else to see, apart from the remains of miners' cottages on the RSPB reserve. It's a pleasant enough place for a walk though, especially in the evening when the water birds are making a racket. And there's new-ish foot bridge across the Cefni replacing the narrow old one.

Can be, but than can not be as well... He says sounding like Geraint Pillock... You can scramble down the side of the pit if you prefer. Last time I went we abbed in (off the fence) and scrambled out.

Decent length of tunnel to look at as well, and wouldn't mind going for a look for the outside end of it.

6.30?
