There's a bit about Manod on the ITV programme 'Countrywise', available via ITV Player at this http://www.itv.com/itvplayer/video/?Filter=163935

Ignore the adverts and then skip forwards to around 09:45 for the Manod section, which curiously also seems to feature the Ffestiniog Railway :bored:

I *think* that's the first bit of modern-day underground footage of Manod that's been broadcast, although it only shows the bit around the entrance.

iirc the "Framed" drama from last year was filmed somewhere near Harlech?

"Framed" surface shots were filmed in the Ffestiniog and "Manod" (Bwlch y Slaters) area and the underground shots at Chwarel Hen Llanfair near Harlech.

What happened to the three special Derby-built wagons for the Art Treasures Store that were later on display at Gloddfa Ganol?

There is at least one of the wagons on display at the Amberley Chalk Pits Museum in Sussex.
