I worked at newtown, wheatsheaf, and agecroft we all had five to six foot seam called Rams...

Although I only worked on it once as an electrician I am pretty sure Mosley Common mined the Rams seam as well.

Rams was also worked at Astley Green from the shaft inset at 1666 ft below sea level and lower - it dipped toward the south. I have a plan somewhere..... :)
