mmm, unless some one has moved Cheshire, I think the location of this mine is incorrect 😮

A cousin of mine lived in Over near Winsford and tried to claim for a new patio as 'it had subsided because of salt mining'. I tried to tell her that uneven paving slabs may not be caused by mining subsidence, but a lot of the locals attributed any ground movement, no matter how slight, to salt extraction. Her claim got nowhere.
