Hello all!
I've seen a bit on this quarry - but am interested to know whether it's underground or surface.

regards

There is an excellent book about it! Tells you everything you could ever wish to know (and probably more too!).

Its mainly surface with very limited underground. The book was written based on an archaeological survey, well worth buying

Did a survey there as part of a Plas TanyBwlch Summer School in 1987/88 - I'll post some photos when I get chance to scan them in. (Might do a bit later today) Griff's book is great, but doesn't say much about the fantastic Hunter saws.
