A rarely visited Corsham quarryThis trip was a permission trip but access is still fragile, so I won't disclose its name. It is a very small quarry that was was only open for a short while and closed because of flooding. In fact we had several trips where we only got to the bottom of the slope shaft because the rest was flooded to the roof. The next visit we make a survey.
The slope shaft is well preserved and stone lined
