It was OK in January, opinion elsewhere suggests it was sealed in the last 2-3 weeks.

Presumably this is in order to reduce the odds of metal theft? - something which has become a major problem, yet seems to be treated by some as a 'minor' criminal activity, at the same sort of level of graffitiing.

There's still a lot of machinery down there iirc and one would assume that there is a desire to keep it intact.

Have to say that its probably to do with people trying to push the boundries too far.....this aint the only mine in the area to have new steel work added recently.

Ah, the next-door neighbours.

Not entirely unsurprising.

The trick is to ensure that nobody knows you've been there. I think that's an art that a lot of people fail to grasp.

As i understand it the next door neighbours didn't like their doors being messed around with.

What, like not making the link between slapping pictures all over the internet where the world and his dog can see what you've been up to and into, and increased security on a site following this?

That indeed - and also trying not to force open doors and leave big muddy footprints somewhere you shouldn't have been ;)

As before, anything in the public view on this site which is in the public view - and should not be - can be removed upon request, be this concerned forum users or indeed mine owners.
