The beach near st Agnes next to blue hills tin ( I think it's called trevellas ) has an adit into the side of cliff on the beach about 15ft up . I've climbed up to it to look but had no torch so didn't enter . Is it explorable ?

right hand side as you look out to sea? got a feeling its blind (dont go anywhere) theres one on the left with a grill over it chucks out a lot of water and would be a crawl if you could get the grill off (not a good idea)

The one on the cliff is as Scooptram says, blind. The one on the beach with the grille is the Penhalls adit. Before it was grilled we sent 2 guys in wet suits up there. Lots of water but it is silted up about 75 metres in.

There are a few outcropping mineral veins on the beach, all barren. Plenty of sulphides about when I was there the other day.

Disclaimer: Mine exploring can be quite dangerous, but then again it can be alright, it all depends on the weather. Please read the proper disclaimer.
