had a great time visiting Tamar Valley and taking a walk around Devon Great Consols way marked paths
The buildings around Okel Tor mine very over grown and information board unreadable which is a shame
the owner is still trying to convert old building in holiday stays
i stayed in the old smithy which was nice over looking Tamar valley and other mines in the area

Purely by chance I walked around Okeltor on Sunday and Devon Great Consols today.

I find the work carried out at DGC has been overdone, the decking at the arsenic works is truely appaling and the miles of fencing uneccesary. I much prefer the low key approach as at Okeltor. That said I do agree about the unreadable sign at Okeltor.
