The best place to source information is on the Toronto Stock Exchange site. (www.tsx.com) and search for C on the ticker search. That brings up Celeste Minerals with all there stock exchange announcements. For example this week Liberty mines and minerals of the US has just put $4 million into the project.

Thanks for that Knocker, any idea if actual mining is imminent?
4 million dollars should make a start on it???

Its part of another $10 million (20km) diamond drilling programme. At the moment the proven reserve is no where near large enough for anyone to contemplate investing the £100 Million required to start mining.

Staffing is raising up to approximately 80 with an increased engineering department and a second diamec being introduced.

Drilling and blasting as also increased in the last couple of months (It keeps adding a extra bang to my snap crackle and pop in the mornings!)

If they **** around enough, the price of metals will have gone through the floor again!

Either they are confident that the prices will go up and up and up (the sentiment behind this would have had greater rewards in speculation) or.....

.....it's total mismanagement of the highest degree. The price is up, it's a matter of placing a bet, pumping and stoping. We have to remember that the people financing this are not pension/hedge funds.

I personally think this is about getting a big fat portfolio together and the directors of the company selling out and making a fortune and the mere theatre in the meantime being just that.

I'll put all my chips on this company doing nothing apart from portfolio building before they sell out.

I'd love them to carry the flag, but by the way they are going about it, you would think this was a financial long shot. Something that the dragons would decline

I'm all in favour of people getting real wages for doing actual work that the can put on their CVs, and I'm no great enthusiast for letting the "heritage" nerds turn the whole county into a blue-and-orange painted theme park.

But $10m isn't a lot of money in that context so as far as actual production goes, I think this one remains in the "if, as and when" file

Crofty achieved a major milestone today, with Cornwall Council finally granting planning permission!
