Hi There,

Have just put this district on the DB and in doing so I can point you at John Cornwells superb book Collieries of Somerset & Bristol by Landmark which covers it (4 pics 1 plan and a 1 page description) .... Mike Moore on here should be able to help you on this (Moorebooks)... good book and covers the whole coalfield as it was under the NCB.

ty very much i shall purchase a copy, i am also looking for photos of the brass band at camerton as my family onced played in it, i know its a long shot but perhaps someone might know something 🙂
