Some new photos added of the only underground mine I know of in Cambridgeshire. Nice to see the place hasn't really changed. I've not been for many years. That bale conveyor thing has been in there since I was at school, I reckon the farmer has forgotten about it :lol:

Is their much tunnels or just what you see in the pictures mate ?

Ah, it wasn't me added these latest photos, just noticed them on the site.

We used to cycle out there when we were at school. There's a series of short tunnels running out from an old quarry which now houses a sewerage works. 3 are easy to get to, the one with the steel door used to have old roofing tiles stored in it. The one with the farming equipment has a hole in the roof to surface which I always wondered about rigging up for some SRT practice.

The others are only accessible with some hacking through undergrowth and edging around a boggy or flooded area depending on the season, they don't go far, in fact you don't really need a light :lol:
