Today I met the Slaley Sough access challenge and survived, brambles and all!

Anyway, joking aside, does anyone have any thoughts on the sound of running water on the right close to the end of the main level?

Could there be some vast natural cave system?
Any thoughts anyone?

Its behind the rock in the right hand wall about 10 feet from the forehead.

Another thought is the crawling entrance crosscut. I think that the floor has been backfilled. maybe by some miners who thought they knew where there was ore and didn't want fresh spoil to appear.

Nothing really changes under the sun. Like today, a few of us get together to mount a secret dig.
