Hi, a few lines to introduce myself. Been into exploring for years, but last couple of years have been concentrating on underground stuff. Fairly familiar with the Wiltshire quarries and visited some of the big Welsh slate (CRTT) included.
Fairly fit for my years (50). Would love to visit some of the Devon and Cornwall mines with like minded folk.
Cheers for now.

Hi there!
Welcome to the forum, theres quite a few on here who are regularly out and about in Cornwall particularly, sure they will introduce themselves. I tend to be limited to researching at the moment due to working hours but hoping that'll change soon! Heres something to get you started, you'll be familiar with the Fox family mill in Wellington, turns out they had interests in Mount Wellington tin mine near Bissoe, Cornwall, details are here

hope this is of interest!

Hi there, thanks for the welcome :)
Yep, that's really interesting, have spent many hours wandering around Tonedale Mill and Tone Mill.
Had no idea of the Fox Brothers had interests in a tin mine.
I'll certainly follow that up with some research, thanks for the heads up.
Hopefully get to meet you one day.
