Researching my Dads family who came from South Elmsall and were connected to Frickley colliery where my Dad aged around 13 looked after a pit pony called George. He was born around 1889 the youngest of a large family, we have no birth certificate for him but his name was Wilfred William Walker OR Walls. Have been researching for over 20 years now but I am still no further forward then today I found this site. Hoping someone can give me some insight how to find out if the family were indeed working at Frickley. My maternal side is easy as ancestors were mainly tin miners. Thanks
