been aware of this site for some time, thought I'd make myself known...
thought I'd start the right way and put some photos up! see the Holmans Test mine user album 🙂

Hi & welcome to the forum. I've put a couple of pics in my album of a 1970's Holman air compressor, which I bought for scrap price & got up & running. Not mining related but might be of interest, built at a time when this country was still great & knew how to build things to last 😞 .........mini moan over ;D

Edit...By the way, nice avatar geometry, obviously a man of taste 😉

cheers sinker, I would be very interested to know if there is another Eimco 824 in fully working condition anywhere in the UK, or even Europe! I reckon not that many of them were made,
rubber tyred 'Cavos' being more popular

if you're down in Cornwall at the start of easter it might be a possibility, not run very often that one

tis a cracking little compressor that, we have a 700cfm one that provides air for the whole mine. they're great mechanically but our cabinet is shot as well, well it is 30 years old!

the avatar is good just a shame theres a 100 x 100 pixel limit, cant really see whats going on in the picture at this size
