Hi.
I was in my youth an apprentice with the NCB working at Berry hill colliery in the north staffs coal field. On a recent visit to my daughter in the hereford area i bought a set of bowles in a charity shop. attached was a lamphouse check for the Hendy Merthyr colliery number 84 stamped NCB. the name of the previous owner was Jim Jones. Anyone out there have any information about the mine,

Hendy Merthyr Colliery was at the top of the valley at Graigcefnparc,Swansea Valley.
